Senior Sales Executive

Senior Sales Executive – Motorhome Sales

OTE £30,000 – £55,000 per year

Location: Portsmouth, UK

Hours: 5 days per week covering Monday – Saturday, if a Saturday is worked a day off in the week will be given.

The position:

The position of Motorhome Sales Executive is a full-time role involving a variety of responsibilities. Although initially, the role is to sell both new and used vehicles, the position also includes the sale of finance and motorhome accessories as well as consistently providing great customer satisfaction. The successful applicant for the Motorhome Sales Executive role will be an excellent communicator and have previous automotive showroom experience. As well as a proven track record in sales, you will have a complete understanding of what is required to complete a sale with the highest level of professionalism.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in high-value sales essential
  • Experienced in the motorhome, car or leisure industry is advantageous but not necessary.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients spending up to £300k.
  • A capacity to learn the product range and technical aspects of 4 motorhome brands.
  • Well organised, with great time management and communication skills.
  • Passion for service excellence and the ability to provide great customer satisfaction.

Are you passionate about motorhomes and eager to help vehicle technicians and customers find the perfect parts to repair their motorhomes while enhancing their travel experiences? We are seeking a Parts Assistant to join our team. As a Parts Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting technicians and customers in identifying and purchasing the right parts and accessories for their motorhomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist technicians and customers in identifying their parts and accessory needs.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory levels and keep track of stock.
  • Collaborate with the service and sales teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.


  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive or motorhome industry.
  • Strong knowledge of motorhome parts and accessories would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and inventory management software
  • Some heavy lifting involved


Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, some occasional weekend work when required

Southdowns are currently looking to take on an experienced, successful, quality Technicians to join our busy Workshop Team.

If you come from a Kitchen Fitting, Boat Fitting, Plumbing, Electrical or Automotive background we would be very interested in meeting with you.

Southdowns Motorhomes are a market leader in the Automotive Leisure industry and we are looking for a Habitation Technician to join our expanding team in our newly acquired, purpose built, site in Portsmouth.

You will be expected to work to high standards of quality and have the benefit of working on prestige motorhomes.

Responsibilities include habitation services, accessory fitting, rectification & repair, gas test, electric test, damp test, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom fitting and plumbing. It is not essential to be skilled in all of these areas as training will be given.

The role is a permanent full time position and offers a generous salary and job stability with a well-established family run business.
