There are two types of solar panel we can fit to a motorhome. Firstly, you have rigid solar panels that’s a solid unit fixed to the roof of your motorhome. The other kind is a flexible solar panel, these are common on a pop-top sleeping roof as they’re lighter than a rigid panel. A solar panel can be fitted to any vehicle as long as your vehicle can support the weight of one, and there’s enough roof space. Available roof space is a key factor to consider when getting a solar panel installed. Here at Southdowns we are happy to fit solar panels, simply get in touch which your vehicle make and model and attach a photo of your motorhome roof for a quote. We find that taking a photo from a bedroom window is the easiest option.
